Computer and Network Technician
Mary Meglio, the owner of MEG Teknologies, established the business while she was still in college. This was at the request of several friends and family members who had asked for her assistance with their computers. Since then, Mary has grown MEG Teknologies and has been servicing Nassau and Suffolk county on Long Island, as well as Westchester County, Queens and Manhattan.
Mary has been studying for years, and continues her studies as the industry grows. In addition to her college degree in Computer Science & Computer and Electronic Service Technology, some of her industry-wide certifications include, but are not limited to:
Web Site Design
In early 2005, Mary studied Web Site Design to add to the list of technical services MEG Teknologies offers. She is knowledgeable with Graphics Design, as well as HTML, CSS, and Flash Animation. To date, her company has sold, built, designed, and maintained over 60 web sites for small to mid sized company's. Mary has found it to be a pleasure to be a part of these company's success and growth both locally, and across the U.S.
Training
In 1999, Mary studied and became a Certified Technical Instructor. She trained over 200 people in the area of A+ Certified Technical Instruction including Computer Hardware & Computer Operating Systems, Network + Certified Technical Instruction including Network Infrastructure, Microsoft Certified Curriculum, and Novell Certified Curriculum.
Mary had always been very dedicated to her students. She worked night and day with those eager to learn and grow. 98% of the students who took Mary's courses went on to pass the A+ and Network + Certified Technical exam.
Mary also tutored several students who later became A+ and Network + Certified Technical Instructors as well.
To this day, Mary is in touch with several of her former students. Several of these students work with Mary.
